The project is divided into: the IMN team which stewards the projects and does fundraising, and the nodes which produce content and onboard people into web3 in their local language.CoordinationWe have been practising social coordination at scale since 2021. For the bDAO Optimism Global Campaign, we coordinate nodes from 11 languages to promote the creation and shipping of content, as well as reporting and accounting for them.Additionally we coordinated with Bankless Academy to ship translation of their OP lesson in 5 languages.Content CreationNodes are independent entities stewarded by local teams and have submitted their own applications. However Chinese and Tamil nodes were unable to submit their own applications due various reasons so we would like to report stats on their behalf.
From coordination side:The Optimism collective was able to market its vision and values to a global community which generated 29,640 views in 11 languages, through 191 pieces of translated content including Newsletter, twitter threads and youtube videos. (detailed stats: https://www.notion.so/adfe3690f22f45099250abe727dd6fee?v=bff82ebe46a2441d8d419a455a943a9d)We also helped translate the Bankless Academy lesson on Optimism into 5 languages.From content creation side (reported in impact metrics below)Chinese node - 3,830 views form 17 pieces of translated content.Tamil node - 1,399 views from 22 pieces of translated content.Overall our effort was able to help raise awareness of the OP stack, help adoption of the chain and assist in the improvement of collective governance.
