Crowdmuse is onboarding creators, brands and suppliers to web3 with a multi-sided marketplace to scale the creator economy. With each fashion collectible drop, we’ve helped creators and suppliers create their wallets for the first time, add their creative assets or manufacturing capacity onchain, and monetize their creative IP and services through web3 rails. Our first drop showcased the MF70 Anti-Surveillance Suit co-created by Metafactory, WeseeClearly, Hugh Clarke, and [a]industri. Since then, we’ve curated 2 drops for FWB, a zero-waste tee for FWB fest and an all purpose 0xTote bag. This week, we launched a special drop with Optimism for 100 “Stay Optimistic” sweatshirts, made with care by Rapanui, curated for Optimism’s Onchain Summit: Superchain Edition.
Through building a crypto consumer use case that regular people can enjoy, we are incentivizing user adoption, especially as creators see new revenue opportunities through business models onchain. As part of the “Stay Optimistic” drop campaign, we want to show the power of Optimism as a consumer brand, enabling new consumer touch points beyond existing web3 audiences. This is our first drop on the OP network, bringing 100 collectors of consumer goods into the OP and Crowdmuse ecosystems. This drop was a collaboration with Rapanui, a sustainable manufacturing brand in the UK, a brilliant 3D designer CU3D, and the Crowdmuse curation team.We believe the most important aspect of end user adoption on Optimism will be consumer experiences targeting new communities outside of web3.
